Meteorological instability has played a decisive role in the development of the inaugural race of the World Trial Championship 2017. Although on Saturday the rain appeared once the qualifying were finished. On Sunday, race day, storms and hail greatly complicated the second lap in sections that are already demanding.

In TrialGP Adam Raga started in a comfortable position after completing a good qualifying the day before. During the first lap, with dry ground, he scored a great level and finished in third place, just two marks behind the leader. The second, already with rain, greatly increased the difficulty of the sections, but Raga still managed to match his first partial, totaling a total of 58 marks and climbing a position in the race, signing a brilliant second place after Toni Bou.

In Trial2 was the largest representation of TRS riders. After the first lap Luca Petrella was placed momentarily second. The appearance of the rain here also conditioned the last passage through the sections and increased the scores, but the Italian rider managed to secure the second podium of the day for TRS Motorcycles.
Good start with TRS for Marc Riba, seventh and only six points from the podium. Sondre "Gekko" Haga entered the "top 15" and Sam Obradò was twentieth after a difficult second lap.

In Trial125 the new TRS One 125 was released in the hands of Eric Miquel. The scores were very adjusted between the leading riders and the young spanish rider achieved a meritorious sixth position, overcoming a strong fall and finishing just five points from the podium.

The next race of the World Trial Championship will take place between May 26 and 28 at Motegi (Japan).
